Requirements

  • Be written/directed/produced by a filmmaker of Macedonian background or origin on any subject matter
  • Be written/directed/produced by a filmmaker of any original or background but promote Macedonia and/or its people in a positive way

MFF accepts films made by Macedonian filmmakers and films on subject matters related to Macedonia made by Australian and International filmmakers. All genres of film will be considered and films from emerging directors are welcome. Screening, final programming and categorisation of films will be determined by the Festival programming committee.

Please note:
We will not consider any films that are political, prejudice or racist to any nationality and all films are judged on merit of story creativity and film making techniques.
